Amels Holland has delivered the 55m superyacht EJI

Part of the Amels Limited Editions 180 range

Dutch yard Amels Yachts has delivered the latest yacht part of the Amels Limited Edition 180 range.

The 55m vessel is named EJI and was delivered to her owner one week in advance.

Christian Power, the Owner’s Representative during the build and Captain of EJI, confirms the smooth and enjoyable build process. “During the sea trials the vessel performed very well. We didn’t have any issues at all. We managed to get the sea trials done in 1 day.”

"The Amels 180 has been the world’s best-selling 55m yacht design since 2007," comments Amels Commercial Director Rose Damen. “We’ve been able to do that through constantly evolving and introducing new features."

Following the delivery of EJI, the yard is working on the next Amels 180, which is now under construction for delivery in spring 2019.

Amels 180 is styled by British designer Tim Heywood, while the interior decor is by Laura Sessa Design.

The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in six double cabins, with crew quarters available for a staff of 12 people.

Power is provided by two MTU 16V 2000 M70 diesel engines for a top speed of 16 knots.
