She found a home in the Great Britain
Italian yard Arcadia Yachts has announced the sale of the 12th hull in the Arcadia A85 range. The new owner is British.
Arcadia A85 is still a desirable yacht, even seven years on from its unveiling. The sale rate is two units per year.
Some yachts remain at the cutting-edge for many years after they first appear on the market. The Arcadia A85 is one such fortunate craft. The very first model from an Italian yard hailed a radical break with tradition on its launch seven years ago and very quickly set a new benchmark for the sector.
The 26m cruiser features a semi-displacement hull and can accommodate eight guests in four double cabins, including the owner's suite. Two cabins at the bow are reserved for a crew of four people.
A main-deck saloon is the main attraction due to its special design. This space can be completely opened up to the main deck offering an area of 100 square meters.
Power for the A85 yacht is provided by two 730 hp MAN diesel engines. She can cruise at 16 knots, and, when needed, can reach a top speed of 18 knots. Arcadia also uses 40 square meters of solar panels that can generate up to 4.5 kW of power.
