Baglietto Sells The First MV19 Military-Style Boat

Inspired by military vessels

Italian yard Baglietto has announced the sale of the first MV19 military-inspired boat.

The Baglietto MV range is made out of high-performance day boats. The MV13 was the first model, but now the Italian builder has sold the first example of the 19.5 m MV19.

The all-aluminium day-cruiser is designed in collaboration by Baglietto and Francesco Paskowski Design. It has a lot of military influences, with inspiration coming from First and Second World War MAS (motoscafo armato silurante, that's Italian for torpedo armed motorboat) military vessels.

The sporty day boat has relaxation areas forward and aft with sunpads, and a dinette with wet bar located aft. The interior is styled with a retro touch and a master cabin plus two guest cabins below deck.

Baglietto has a reputation for high-performance so the new MV19 will be powered by a pair of 1,800 hp MAN V12. Top speed is 40 knots.
