Bilgin Yachts’ Project Lay Is A Family-Friendly Cruiser

Impressive design

The concept Project Lay is the work of German naval architect Frank Neubelt. It is a 46m family-friendly cruiser with angular lines designed for Turkish yard Bilgin Yachts.

She will have accommodation for ten guests, including a main cabin with a private office. Four other cabins are located below the main deck.

On the aft deck the guest can enjoy a Jacuzzi pool and relaxation spaces. A large sundeck is located on the foredeck. When needed, the foredeck can be used as a touch-and-go helipad.

Project Lay will use a hybrid propulsion system which will have a silent cruising mode. The technical details and performance numbers are not yet revealed.

The Turkish yard Bilgin Yachts has also an 80m superyacht named Bilgin 263 under development. It will be launched in 2019.
