Third hull in the Darwin 102 series
Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche has launched the third hull in the Darwin 102 series of explorer yachts.
The new 31m vessel carries the name Galego and will make her public debut at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival.
Following Acala and Babbo, the new explorer yacht features exterior design and naval architecture by Hydro-Tec. The interiors have been created by Pierluigi Floris with walnut wood panelling and leather wall linings from Poltrona Frau.
She can accommodate eight guests in four cabins, including an owner's suite. Crew quarters allow for a staff of seven.
Power is provided by two Caterpillar diesel engines. Top speed is 13.6 knots. Cruising at 10 knots, she can reach a maximum range of 5,900 nautical miles.
