First hull in the Asteria 96 range
China is also a player in the superyacht industry. The Heysea yard has delivered the first hull in the Asteria 96 range, a 29m yacht built from a GRP hull and superstructure.
The first Asteria 96 was built for a Chinese client. The yacht can accommodate six guests in three double cabins, including a master suite. The crew quarters allows for a staff of three people.
Power is provided by two Caterpillar C18 diesel engines, each delivering 1,136 hp for a top speed of 20 knots. Heysea Asteria 96 can fast cruise at 16 knots.
The interior design is elegant and has some key features like a separate media room fitted with a top-of-the-range entertainment system.
