Futuristic looks

American shipyard Christensen has presented its 40m concept for a raised pilothouse yacht.
Designed in-house, the concept was revealed at FLIBS 2017, and it features a dramatic swooping arch from the transom up to the radar arch.

The 40m can accommodate up to ten guests in five staterooms, including a main-deck owner's suite. Crew quarters offers space for a staff of five people. The yacht will be built from composite material.
The main feature of the vessel is the sundeck with dining area, bar and octagonal spa pool.

Power will be provided by two MTU 12V diesel engines. Top speed is 18 knots. Cruising at 10 knots, she will reach a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles.
