50m Italian superyacht

Columbus S50 is the latest yacht sold by the Palumbo Group. The 45.5m vessel is scheduled for launch in 2020.

The yacht will be built from an aluminum hull and superstructure at the Ancona yard. Luca Dini Design signs exteriors and interiors of this new model, sold by Palumbo Superyachts after the new ISA Alloy 43 meters – also designed by Dini – now under construction in the Italian shipyard based in Ancona.

Driven by two 2,000 hp MTU engines, Columbus S 50 will have a top speed of 20 knots in semi-displacement mode, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a transoceanic range.

"The exterior design expresses dynamism while maintaining well- balanced proportions, conveying an original style without being over-the-top and ensuring that its aesthetic will never go out of fashion", says the yard in a statement.
