Conrad Shipyard delivers M/Y Viatoris

Polish yacht builder Conrad Shipyard had delivered its largest motoryacht to date: the 40m M/Y Viatoris.

The new vessel will make her public debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September. Viatoris is the largest yacht built in Poland. By the way, Viatoris is Latin for traveller.

With final preparations under way, Viatoris is expected to leave Gdansk for its maiden voyage to explore the fjords of Norway after which she will come back to the shipyard for regular maintenance and check-ups. Finally, she will slowly make her way to the Mediterranean, on the way looking to explore Northern Europe to stop in cities like Hamburg and London, to eventually arrive at her final destination in Croatia.

To celebrate this special occasion the yard hosted a series of events over the weekend with family and friends for a sneak preview of Viatoris. Guests included Andrew Langton of Reymond Langton Design responsible for the exterior, the Diana Yacht Design team responsible for naval architecture, honorary guests like Frank Neubelt, representatives from Ocean Independence and Fraser, as well as media from Europe, Russia, and the Middle East.

Viatoris can accommodate up to ten guests in five double cabins. The vessel is built from a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.

Power is provided by two 670 hp Caterpillar C18 Acert diesel engines for a top speed of 13 knots.
