Canadian superyacht
Crescent Yachts is a superyacht builder from Canada. The latest model launched is Crescent 145, a 44.2m superyacht.
She will begin sea trials ahead of her delivery at the end of 2016. The new superyacht has naval architecture by Jack Sarin and exterior design by Jonathan Quinn Barnett. She has a semi-displacement hull made from GRP and a composite superstructure.
Crescent 145 can accommodate ten guests in five cabins and also needs a crew of nine to operate. Power is provided by a pair of MTU 16V 4000 diesel engines. Total power is 5,470 hp.
Crescent Yachts was sold in 2005 due to financial problems, but the grandson of the original owner, bought the company back and the 145 project was put into construction.
