Big boys explorer yacht

Dutch yard Damen has announced that construction has started on the SeaXplorer 77 project.
The 77m explorer vessel was commissioned by a client who wants to use it as a platform for diving, surfing and heliskiing. The SeaXplorer 77 is due to launch in 2020.
The Damen SeaXplorer 77 is designed as a helicopter base for two Airbus ACH125s.

“It not only has a fully certified helideck for safe landings, but it also has a standby surface for a backup helicopter,” says Rose Damen, commercial director at Damen. "Both helicopters can fit in the below deck hangar, so they’re protected from the elements.”

On the features list there is also a garage with space for snowmobiles, Jet Skis and a 10.5m tender.
SeaXplorer 77 has a reinforced ice hull compliant with the IMO Polar Code. She will have a maximum autonomy of 40 days. It can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 25 people.
