Dutch yacht M/Y Delta One by Mulder Shipyard completes sea trials

M/Y Delta One is a Mulder ThirtySix

The latest hull in the Mulder ThirtySix line has completed sea trials.

The Dutch built yacht is named M/Y Delta One and it's the 36m flagship of the range.

The all-aluminium yacht is built to RINA standards and has transatlantic range. The exterior design is by Claydon Reeves Design, while the interior is the work of Vickers Studio.

“The basic concept behind this exciting new yacht is to make the most out of a volume not exceeding 300GT,” explained yard director Dick Mulder. “This will open up excellent possibilities for both private use and chartering, with the possibility of having a relatively small crew when the owners are on board.”

Power is provided by two Caterpillar C18 diesel engines each delivering 1,150 hp. Top speed reached in sea trials is 16.8 knots. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five double cabins, including a full-beam master suite.

The new yacht will be present at Monaco Yacht Show in September.
