Echo Yachts Launches Support Vessel Charley

Charley is a catamaran

Australian yard Echo Yachts has launched a 51m superyacht support vessel named Charley.

It is a catamaran that will support White Rabbit, a 84m trimaran superyacht, currently under construction at Echo Yachts yard.

Although is a support vessel, Charley features a lot of options for entertaining guests. There is a dining area with seating for eight, a lounge with flatscreen television and an on-board piano.

Aft of the wheelhouse there is a garage with room for tender storage and several RIBs. A custom 12m catamaran tender named Vicky will be hauled on the large aft platform. The support vessel will be able to carry up to 11 watercraft.

Charley can accommodate five guests in three cabins, while the staff of 12 has separate living quarters.

Power is supplied by two 2,700 hp Cummins diesel engines. She can cruise at 16 knots for 3,000 nautical miles.
