British Company Fairline Yachts will launch its first boat since the new company was formed in January. The previous name of the company was Fairline Boats, but it was hit by financial troubles and in December last year it entered into financial administration.

At the end of January its future was secured by two UK-based Russian investors, both passionate boat owners. The new company has a new name, Fairline Yachts and is now managed by Russel Currie, an experienced manager. At the beginning of March, Fairline Yachts launched the Targa 48 GT, the first boat to roll off the new yard. The 48 GT is a sports cruiser 14.6 meter long featuring Volvo Penta engines and three cabins.

Fairline Yachts is operating from the same manufacturing facilities in Oundle, Great Britain.
