Feadship, the Dutch shipyard rarely gives access to its unreleased projects to the press. Yet, SuperYacht Times have been granted a preview of project Vertigo. Vertigo is a 96.5 meter superyacht designed by Redman Whiteley Dixon. The interior is the work of Chahan Minassian of Chahan Interior Design. Vertigo is due for delivery in the first quarter of 2017.
Hull number 1006 is under construction at Feadship facility in Makkum, The Nederlands. It has grand sweeping curves combined with Feadship design cues like the stretched bow where we will find a helicopter landing pad and a dedicated hangar able to store a Bell 429.
Inside, Vertigo will be able to accommodate 18 guests and a crew of 34. The living areas will be open and uncluttered. The owner will have a dedicated deck above the bridge deck featuring a full width forward-facing master suite. The guests will be welcomed in four double guest cabins and two VIP suites.
Steel is used for the hull and aluminum for the superstructure. Power will be available from two MTU 16V 4000 M63L engines. Top speed will be 17 knots with a range of 5,000 nautical miles while maintaining a cruising speed of 12 knots.
