Feadship Savannah Is Motor Yacht Of The Year 2016

83.5 meters of sublime

Savannah is one of the most awarded yachts in the industry. At the 2016 ShowBoats Design Awards, she won no less than three awards: Exterior Design & Styling, Interior Layout and Design and Holistic Design.

Also, Savannah is Motor Yacht of the Year, a title won during the 2016 World Superyacht Awards.

All these titles are well deserved, the Dutch built superyacht being an innovative and splendid vessel.

The 83.5m Savannah is the first hybrid superyacht built by Dutch yard Feadship. It was completed in 2015. For power it relies on a single Wartisla diesel engine and three gensets plus a set of batteries. The hybrid solution offers fuel economy up to 30%. For drive, Savannah uses a propeller that is 40% larger than the norm and also azimuting thruster.

The streamlined hull also helps the quest for a more economical superyacht. Further innovation comes in the form of a floating superstructure, an underwater lounge, the ‘open’ aft deck areas, and much more besides.

Savannah was designed by CG Design in collaboration with Feadship's De Voogt Naval Architects.

The features for the guests are quite impressive. A nine-meter pool, an underwater lounge, where you can see the fish swim past and also a cinema can be found on board. 12 guests can be accommodated on board in six cabins. The ship has a crew of 26.
