Fifth hull in the Astondoa 80GLX range launched

She is named M/Y 17

Spanish yard Astondoa has launched the fifth hull in the Astondoa 80GLX range.

Named M/Y 17, she was present at Cannes Yachting Festival and will be delivered to her owner in Miami later this year. The 25m yacht is different from the other hulls in the series. The windows are larger and the saloon layout is a completely open-plan.

She is built from a GRP hull and superstructure. M/Y 17 can accommodate eight guests in four double cabins, all below deck. The master suite uses the maximum beam of the vessel.

Power is provided by two MAN V12 diesel engines for a top speed of 31 knots. She can fast cruise at 28 knots and has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles.
