First Canados 888 Evo under construction in Italy

Set to debut at Cannes Yachting Festival

Italian yard Canados will bring the first hull of the 888 Evo range to Cannes Yachting Festival.

The new yacht is currently under construction at the Ostia yard. The 27m vessel is designed to be a successor to the popular Canados 86 which has been sold in 46 units. Canados 888 Evo is built from a Kevlar hull and superstructure. It features redesigned portholes, floor-to-ceiling windows and a foredeck lounge. The interior is customizable, future clients can choose from a range of luxury materials like wood, marble and Poltrona Frau leather.

First hull of Canados 888 Evo is able to accommodate eight guests and a crew of three people.

A tender garage, a hardtop bimini and gyroscopic stabilizers are also on the features list.

Power is provided by two Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines. Top speed is 32 knots, but she can fast cruise at 28 knots.
