Dutch builder Heesen Yachts has announced that the hull and superstructure of the 51m superyacht known as YN 18151 have been joined.

YN 18151 is a 51m semi-displacement full-custom motoryacht below the 500GT threshold, with exterior lines and interior styling by Eidsgaard Design.

It's the first collaboration between the Dutch yard and the London-based design studio. Eidsgaard is the name responsible for the exterior design of 40m Wally sailing yacht Angels Share and 77m Feadship Tango.

“It is exciting to see this full-custom project take shape. Working with SuperYachtsMonaco, who represent the client’s commercial interest and Superyacht Technical Services who are providing the technical support, is a very positive experience. YN 18151 a custom project which embodies the Heesen DNA as a full-aluminium, semi-displacement yacht for fast cruising: she is going to be yet another Heesen with a great pedigree!”, said the Board of Directors from Heesen.

Powered by two MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesel engines with naval architecture and precision engineering by Heesen’s in-house experts, YN 18151 will reach a top speed of 25 knots with a range of 2,425nm at cruising speed of 11 knots.

She can accommodate ten guests in a master suite and four double cabins. Also, there are crew quartes for ten members of staff. The delivery of YN 18151 is scheduled in spring 2018 after intensive sea trials in the North Sea.
