Made in Taiwan
A concept nearly nine years in the making, hull one of Horizon Yachts’ latest model – the new Horizon V67 – will soon make her debut.
The Taiwanese yard developed this model in collaboration with designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett. It's the third model in the V series range, which includes the V72 and V80 models.
“We are very proud of the new V67 model,” says Horizon CEO John Lu. “This motor yacht retains Horizon’s signature quality inside and out. There are not many true yachts available in the 60 to 70-foot range for clients looking to upgrade from 40 or 50 feet; most of the offerings in this size range are for weekend or day boats not meant for long-term cruising. The V67 takes advantage of the trickle-down effect from Horizon’s superyacht projects into our smaller sized yachts.”
The 20,5m yacht uses a plumb bow design that allows for a longer waterline and reduces drag at lower speeds.
Power is provided by two Caterpillar C18 ACERT diesel engines, each providing 1,136 hp.
A three or four staterooms layout is possible, with optional crew quarters aft.
