Overmarine's Mangusta Oceano 42 is the stuff of dreams. It will keep you dreaming of summer through the cold winter months.
The Italian yard Overmarine entered a new segment with the launch of the Mangusta Oceano 42 range. It's a 43m long displacement motor yacht with sleek and modern lines.
The Mangusta Oceano 42 has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure styled by Alberto Mancini. It's the first displacement yacht with a steel hull in the yard's history.
Also, she makes very intelligent use of the glazed areas. For example, the beach club area has six large glass panels fitted into the transom which allows guests to see underwater. There are also skylights, sliding glass doors and a glass pool on the foredeck.
She can accommodate ten guests in five cabins, including the owner's suite. Crew quarters allow for a staff of seven.
Power is provided by two MTU 12V 2000 M72 diesel engines each delivering 1,048 hp. She can reach a top speed of 15 knots but will cruise comfortably at 11 knots.
