Kitalpha 22 From Cantieri di Pisa is a Retro-Style Motoryacht

Italian yard builds gorgeous yachts with weird names

Cantieri di Pisa have sold the Kitalpha 22, one month after the sale of Akhir 42S.

The Cantieri di Pisa 22 line is drawing inspiration from a 1965 yacht named Kitalpha. She was a 15m motor yacht that enjoyed much success.

The classic style was preserved for the modern yacht with design by Luca Dini. The new Kitalpha 22 is 22.5 m long, has a beam of 6.5m and steel hull and superstructure. She can reach a top speed of 14 knots. Power is provided by two Volvo D16 MH engines.

Eight guests can be accommodated on board in the owner suite and three additional cabins. At the bow there is room for two crew members.

The stern cockpit on main deck hosts a tender, while on the lower deck there is a beach area, gym and spa. Also, the large folding aft door creates a platform on the water. Delivery of the Cantieri di Pisa Kitalpha 22 is due by early 2018.
