If built, she will become one of the largest yachts in the world
Italian design company, HBD Studios has unveiled the first renders for a superyacht concept named L'Amage.
The concept debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show. If built, she will become one of the largest yachts in the world. Standing at 190 meters long and with a beam of 28 meters, this behemoth can accommodate 28 guests in 14 deluxe cabins plus a private apartment for the owner. It also needs a staff of 70 to operate.
Using one of the most advanced propulsion technologies available in the maritime industry called CODAG (combination of diesel engines & gas turbines) together with controllable-pitch propellers this superyacht can reach a max speed of 32 knots thanks to the 95,000 hp generated by its two diesel engine running together with two gas turbines.
Also, the designers say this will one of the first superyachts that will incorporate flat panel satellite technology that can replace the satellite domes on top of the yachts.
