American explorer yacht
The 31.5m explorer yacht named Northland has been delivered by the American Burger Boat Company.
The vessel is now underway on her delivery voyage, two weeks after the christening. She is designed for long-range cruising and fishing. Accommodation is for eight guests in four double cabins.
Northland was built from a steel hull and aluminum superstructure at the Manitowoc shipyard in Wisconsin.
Power is provided by two Caterpillar C18 ACERT diesel engines each delivering 475 hp that allow for a 4,000 nautical miles range when cruising at 9,5 knots. Maximum speed is 12.4 knots.
