Monte Carlo Yachts has launched the first MCY96

Monte Carlo Yachts has launched the 30m MCY96 model in Venice.

Named M/Y Mia, the first hull in MCY96 range it's built from Kevlar and carbon fiber. The MCY96 is part of the Nuvolari Lenard-designed range. Her looks are inspired by the larger MCY105 models, which are popular, with six hulls sold since the July 2015 launch.

The main deck includes a full-beam owner's suite and a fold-out terrace. Below deck there are four additional double cabins.

Power is provided by two MTU diesel engines, each delivering 2,200 hp. The alternative is twin 1,900 hp MAN. Top speed is 27 knots.

Three units of the MCY96 have been already sold.
