This behemoth of the seas is powered by two MTU diesel engines each delivering 4,827 hp for a top speed of 21 knots. Cruising speed is 16 knots which will give her a transatlantic range of 5,320 nautical miles.
The three impressive masts are nearly 100 meters in height and feature an automated sail management system.
The design of S/Y A is the work of Philippe Stark, while the rig and keel were done by Dutch-based Dykstra Naval Architects. The masts were produced by British firm Magma Structures.
The yacht has eight decks and needs a crew of 54 people to operate.
