No, this is not the Bugatti edition
Palmer Johnson has announced the launch of the new PJ63 Sport line. This line of sport yachts is designed to take the smaller open yachts to another level of luxury.
The first model of the line is the PJ63, a sporty vessel perfect for destinations as Miami, Cote d'Azur or Ibiza.
The American yard has teamed up with Latitude Yachts from Latvia for the build of the first hull in the series. PJ62 has 19.4 meters in length. The monohull design allows for a wide beam of 6.3m, resulting in the largest open deck yacht in its class.
Accommodation is provided by a full-beam owner's cabin, a VIP double cabin, and a single crew cabin.
There will be two versions for the PJ63: open and hardtop. Power comes from a triple engine layout, with Volvo Penta IPS600 pod drive. This gives the PJ63 a top speed of 36 knots. The first hull is already in construction in Riga. Final outfitting will take place in Italy, before the official launch planned for June 2017. The price for the yacht is set at $2.75 million.
