Perini Navi all the way
Italian yard Perini Navi has announced that it will retire the Picchiotti brand.
Picchiotti was used for the motor yacht built by the Italian yard, while the sail yachts were sold under the Perini Navi brand. Now, Perini Navi brings both motor and sailing yachts under the same brand.
Lamberto Tacoli, chairman and CEO of Perini Navi said: “Picchiotti remains part of the family – it was not a decision against Picchiotti, but a decision for Perini Navi.”
The announcement was made during the Monaco Yacht Show press conference, reports Boat International. During the same press conference, Perini Navi revealed the sale of the fourth hull in the 60m semi-custom sailing yacht series.
