Riostar 160 is Brazil’s Largest Yacht

The largest yacht built in Brazil is taking shape at the Riostar yard in Rio de Janeiro.

The superyacht is known as the Riostar 160 and is a 45m full-displacement vessel with a aluminium hull and composite superstructure.

Naval architecture is by Donald L. Blount, while the interior and exterior design is by Fernando De Almeida.

The yacht will have four decks and accommodation for up to ten guests in five double cabins, including the owner's suite. A staff of nine people have separate quarters.

Power is sourced from a pair of Caterpillar C32 Acert diesel engines each delivering 1,300 hp for a top speed of 15 knots. Maximum range is 4,000 nautical miles when cruising at 12 knots.
