French design studio VPLP has unveiled the 47.5m wingsail catamaran concept named Evidence.
This vessel uses similar technology to that which propelled the America's Cup boats during the last two races. She needs a small sailplan of 400 square meters for her length.
Evidence can accommodate 12 guests in six staterooms, including a main-deck owner's cabin. The crew quarters are situated in the starboard hull and allows for a staff of 10 people.
On the deck, the yacht offers a lot of space for sunbathing on the upper sundeck plus a glass-bottomed spa pool.
Auxiliary power is provided by two 490 hp Caterpillar C12 diesel engines that propel the vessel to a maximum speed of 16 knots.
