Work in progress

Italian yard Wider Yachts is building the largest superyacht to date, the Wider 165, also known as Project Cecilia.

The new video released by the yard shows the progress of the build. The structural work is almost complete and the engines have been installed.

Delivery is scheduled for the summer of 2018. Wider 165 is an all-aluminium superyacht with interior and exterior styling by Fulvio de Simoni. The 50m yacht features a touch-and-go helicopter pad and a submersible tender garage, which can be converted into a beach club.

The Wider flagship will accommodate 12 guests in five cabins. Crew quarters allows for a staff of nine people.

Power is provided by the diesel-electric propulsion system, which includes two 805 hp diesel engines. Top speed is 15 knots, while the cruising speed is 13 knots. She can also silent cruise at five knots.
