At the Zeelander Yachts’ shipyard in the Netherlands, a new 55-foot hull has arrived and the crew started working on a special project. The client’s brief was plain and simple: “I want the fastest Zeelander ever built”. With a top speed of 42 knots, that is what he will get!

2000HP

The new Zeelander Z55 will be equipped with two of the most powerful engines in the Volvo Penta IPS range, the IPS1350. Both 12.8L in-line 6-cylinder D13 engines will generate 2.000 hp.

The fastest Zeelander yacht ever is equipped with a large seven square meter swim platform complete with a bar and a swim ladder. It is easily accessible from the main deck. A fast 100-Hp Williams tender is stored in the garage to play and help the owner and guests explore the coasts to the maximum along with two Seabobs.
