Lurssen Launches 74m Motoryacht Named Aurora

It’s the smallest superyacht built by the famous German shipyard since 2014

The 74m superyacht was previously known as Project Thor.

It's the smallest yacht built by Lurssen since 2014 when the German yard launched the 66m Elysian. Still, at 74m in length, M/Y Aurora enters the top 200 largest superyachts.

Aurora is scheduled for delivery at end of the year. She features interior and exterior styling by Winch Design with an emphasis on classic elements and curved lines. The project was sold in 2014 by Moran Yacht & Ship to a client that wanted a large volume ocean-going yacht capable of accommodating his entire family.

Aurora is powered by two MTU diesel engines that will give her a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
