First megayacht for the Italian yard
Italian yard Columbus Yachts has announced the construction of an 80m superyacht.
It's the first time Columbus Yachts ventures in megayacht territory. The first renderings show a six decks superyacht with classic yet contemporary lines.
The vessel is under construction at the Naples yard. When completes, the yacht will feature a beach club with sauna, gym, helipad, two tender garages and a cinema room.
Power will be provided by two MTU 4000 M63L diesel engines. Top speed will be 16.5 knots. Cruising at 12 knots, she will reach a range of 6.000 nautical miles.
The 80m Columbus superyacht will be ready for delivery in 2018. The Italian yard is also known for the concept explorer yacht Tomahawk, unveiled in November 2016.
