Bertram, the American boat builder has put a new classic model in its line-up.
The new Bertram 35, which exudes the original 31's soul, incorporates a beamier, longer hull design allowing for a spacious and comfortable interior. Projected to reach 40+ knots with twin 460-hp diesels. Engine access is through two engine boxes in the cockpit, which also doubles as mezzanine seating. It's customizable to be fully fish-rigged. Bertram 35 has a length of 35 feet (10 meters).
One of the main priorities for the new Bertram 35 interior design was to respect the tradition of this iconic brand, but to give it a modern interpretation and fresher look. The interior design is the work of Marty A. Lowe Inc.
Bertram was part of the Ferretti Group, but in 2015 the brand was acquired by the Gavio Group. The Italian Gavio Group owns also superyacht builder Baglietto. Bertram Yachts was established by Richard Bertram in 1960.
