Brazilian Builder MCP Yachts Starts Production of the 92.5 Raised Pilothouse Model

She will be launched in 2018

The first MCP 92.5 raised pilothouse in under construction at the Brazilian yard. The launch of the 28.7 m vessel is scheduled for 2018.

This yacht is designed in-house by the MCP team and it has semi-displacement hull made from aluminum. The superstructure is also aluminum.

“Elegant and at the same time contemporary lines, make its profile essentially timeless. Its features, while unique, are designed to satisfy all kind of tastes", says the official statement from the yard.

The MCP 92.5 has accommodation for 14 guests in six cabins. There is a master suite on the main deck, plus five double cabins. A staff od four people has separate living quarters.

The first renderings show ample space for a sundeck with hardtop bimini and aft tender storage.

For power, the Brazilian yard will use engine configurations from 2,030 hp to 3,650 hp. The first hull will have two 1,400 hp Caterpillar diesel engines which will deliver a top speed of 21 knots.

The Brazilian MCP Yard also has under development other two projects: the 43.3 m MCP 140 Hemisphere and the 30 m sailing yacht Silver Bullet 100.
