Canadian Built Crescent 145 Yacht Delivered

This is the new flagship in the Crescent Custom Yachts fleet

Canadian-based builder Crescent Custom Yachts has delivered the first 145 yacht to Florida. The yacht has been named Muchos Mas.

Crescent 145 is the new flagship model and is styled inside and out by designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett from Seattle and features naval architecture by Jack Sarin.

Crescent 145 is a 44m semi-displacement yacht with a GRP hull and composite superstructure.

Ten guests can be accommodated on board the 145 model in five cabins, including the owner's suite. M/Y Muchos Mas has a crew of nine and uses diesel power for a pair of MTU 16V4000 that deliver a total of 5,470 hp.

Crescent 145 is the first yacht built by the Canadian yard after many years. The Canadian yacht building industry has endured tough times since the year 2000. The owner of the Crescent company in 2005 to a group of investors who moved the operations from Richmond, Canada to a new yard in Queenship.

Tim Charles, the grandson of the original owner took over the the yard in Richmond and started Platinum Marine, a refit business. Meanwhile, Crescent Custom Yachts ceased operations in 2012. In 2015, Tim Charles bought back the Crescent name. Muchos Mas is the first yacht built by the reborn company.
