Built by Feadship in 1998
M/Y Sussurro is a blast from the past. Built for speed by Dutch yard Feadship, the 50m vessel is still one of the fastest pleasure yachts.
A keen diver, Sussurro's owner had requested phenomenal speed to ensure remote diving areas could be reached in the shortest possible time scale.
Feadship's solution was to use two Paxman diesels and twin TF40 gas turbines to drive three water jets. With 15,000 combined horsepower, the all aluminum Sussurro is capable of speeds as high as 46 knots.
Total fuel capacity for Sussurro is 46,000 liters.
Sussurro features naval architecture by DeVoogt, while the interiors were styled by Terence Disdale. She can accommodate 12 guests in six double cabins.
