The largest yacht launched last year, the 156 m Dilbar, formerly known as Project Omar, has set on her maiden voyage. After she left the shipyards of German builder Lurssen, Dilbar has been spotted in Gibraltar on her way to Moroccan city of Tangier where she will be delivered to her new owner.

Dilbar is the largest superyacht launch of 2015. She has become the fourth largest yacht in the world by length and it will be one of the largest by gross tonnage, with an estimated weight of over 15,500 tones.

The maiden voyage is almost 2,000 nautical miles long and comes two months after the sea trials.

The superyacht was reportedly ordered by Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov, who also owns a 110 m superyacht Dilbar, now renamed Ona, also built by Lurssen.
