Dutch designer PB Behage has unveiled a new 44.8 meter superyacht called Eastern Red. The name has some Soviet resonance, but the concept will appeal to the practical yachtsmen.
The design is characterized by a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. “My aim is to create a modern yacht in harmony between flowing and sharp lines, and decks shall provide all lounges area with panoramic views suitable during to allow use in all seasons, and to incorporate new technology for practical purposes,” explained Piet B. Behage.
The interior of Eastern Red features a gym, a cockpit for sport fishing or water toys. For accommodation, there are three suites for a total of eight guests. On the lower deck, there is one spacious full-beam guest cabin and two double guest cabins. Upstairs lies the full-beam owner’s suite, completed with a large walk-in bathroom and wardrobe, study and tea table. Outdoor there is a sun deck with spa pool and shower. Also, there is plenty of space for lounging and barbecue facilities.
