Mulder ThirtySix Mixes Modern Dutch Style With Traditional Lines

No, it’s not Mulder from the X Files

Dutch shipyard Mulder offers a 36m long motoryacht made from aluminium. It's the flagship of the yard and has a lot of modern cues mixed with traditional lines.

The new Mulder ThirtySix features a bespoke modern exterior with a sleek aluminium construction and a continuous window line which culminates in a contemporary plumb bow. The design will feature the Van Oossanen patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) to ensure comfortable sailing and fuel economy at all speeds. This will not compromise performance as the twin 1,150 hp engines from Caterpillar will ensure a maximum speed of 16.8 knots. The cruising speed is 15 knots.

There are five cabins on board that can accommodate up to ten guests. A large saloon, dining room and bar area are located on the main deck, with floor to ceiling windows providing panoramic views all around while also flooding the interior with lots of natural light. The dining experience will be enhanced by the addition of a folding side balcony, which brings seascape panoramas right to the table.

Further entertainment space can be found outside the saloon, where the large outdoor aft deck area provides plenty of shaded al fresco seating and dining possibilities. The sun deck above the aft deck and main saloon includes generous seating, lots of sun pads, a whirlpool bathtub with room for eight and a comfy dining place – a perfect backdrop to relaxing, sunbathing and socialising. For those who wish to be closer to the water, the 36-metre design incorporates a beach club with further seating, a day head and a shower.
