This is the flagship of the Maxi Open Mangusta fleet
The 11th hull of the Mangusta 165E series was launched in Viareggio. The 50m long superyacht will be handed over to her owner at the beginning of 2017.
The Mangusta 165 was introduced in 2007 and has become extremely popular with ten hulls sold. The new model is the "Evolution" version with some new design features and innovations. The first Mangusta 165E was launched in 2014.
Propulsion package is impressive: four 2.600 hp MTU V2000 M94 engines and four Rolls-Royce Kamewa waterjets. Top speed is 35 knots.
Performances are similar to that which were achieved in the past, but consumption is considerably lower.
Hull number 12 has been already sold is also in construction and will be launched over the next few months.
