52m superyacht
Italian yard Sanlorenzo has launched the second hull in the 52Steel range of yachts.
She is named M/Y KD and was designed by Officina Italiana Design. The 52m follows in the steps of M/Y Seven Sins, the first hull in the 52Steel line.
The new yacht can accommodate 12 guests in five staterooms: the owner's suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins with Pullman berths. Crew quarters allows for a staff of nine people.
She features a transparent swimming pool on the main deck, which allows the light to pass to the area under it, a large tender garage which can be converted to a beach club.
Power is provided by two 1,900 hp MTU 12V4000 M63 diesel engines for a top speed of 18 knots. Cruise speed is 16 knots. When travelling at 11 knots, the yacht can reach a maximum range of 4,400 nautical miles.
