Superyacht Elixir Built by Amels Makes Her Debut at the Monaco Yacht Show

The latest Amels creation

Amels will bring the 55-metre Elixir (180 ft) at the Monaco Yacht Show for her public debut.

Delivered in June 2016, Elixir is the latest incarnation of the successful Amels 180 design. Elixir is a perfect showcase for the six yachts in the 55 to 83-metre Amels Limited Editions range (180 to 272 ft). Elixir was delivered by Amels in only eight months from signing.

The Amels Limited Editions project meant Elixir's owner was able to create the very personal and characteristic yacht he wanted, but much more quickly than a full custom build. The owner collaborated with exterior designer Tim Heywood and interior designer Laura Sessa to create Elixir’s holistic design full of eccentric contrasts. Twelve guests can be accommodated on board across six cabins. Key features on board include a sun deck with spa pool, cinema and a beach club.

Elixir is powered by a pair of MTU diesel engines with a total output of 2,616 hp. Top speed is 15.5 knots, but she cruises at 13 knots for a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
