88.5m Chinese superyacht
Chinese yard Pride Mega Yachts has launched the 88.5m flagship named M/Y Illusion Plus.
With exterior lines by British Studio Rainsford Saunders Design inspired by Rolls-Royce motor cars, the yacht has a vertical bow and a gently sloping transom.
The interiors are the work of Dutch studio Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and installed by Greenline Yacht Interiors of Dubai.
Illusion Plus is built from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. The project was first announced in 2007 and was put on hold due to the global financial crisis. Delivery date is set for the end of the year.
The new superyacht can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 25 people. The guests can enjoy a master suite, two VIP cabins and three double cabins.
Power will be provided by a 3,000 hp Rolls-Royce diesel-electric drivetrain for a top speed of 16 knots. Cruising at 14 knots, M/Y Illusion Plus will reach a top speed of 5,000 nautical miles.
