She is a Mangusta Gransport 54
The 54m Mangusta Gransport 54 superyacht was launched at Overmarine's shipyard in Pisa, Italy.
Named "El Leon" the new vessel will become the flagship for the Italian yard after the delivery to her owner later this year.
The launching ceremony took place in the Navicelli area, in Pisa, at the presence of the Owner, his family and friends, the City authorities, both of Pisa and Viareggio, the Balducci family and everyone who contributed to the creation of the vessel.
“In the automotive sector the definition of GranSport is synonym with high performance and optimal comfort – stated Maurizio Balducci, CEO of Overmarine Group – These principles have been the key starting point for the creation of the new line. We translated them and applied them to our business, giving life to a model that is an authentic combination of excellence between performance and autonomy.”
The Mangusta GranSport line is designed by Alberto Mancini. She is built from aluminum and features a shallow draft of 2.3m.
Power is provided by four MTU 16V 2000 M94 diesel engines, each delivering 2,600 hp for a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising range of 3.500 nautical miles.
