How can you redesign something so simple as a boat?
Well, here is a new take from a designer that reinvented the snowmobile. This is the Tinnie 10 side by side vessel. It is the vision of Joey Ruiter for a small commuter boat. It is practically a floating triangle built from lightweight powder-coated aluminium weighing only 173 lbs (78 kg).
The floor is made from white oak. This small boat can carry two persons sitting side by side. It is a minimalistic interpretation of the classic dingy boat.
The 'tinnie' boat is powered by 6hp, 4-stroke engine, or an electric motor, if desired.
