Torqueedo is present at the METS Amsterdam fair, one of the largest trade fairs for marine equipment. It was a perfect occasion for Torqeedo to present the new range of products for 2018.
The new 48V battery named Power 48-5000, makes the use of AGM or gel batteries for electric mobility obsolete. It has a long service life and eight-year capacity warranty. It can supply energy for electric motors up to 10 kW.
Deep Blue, Torqeedo's propulsion system has received an upgrade. The 40 and 80 hp propulsion system now uses the new BMW i8 high-power battery. Boats with limited space can take advantage of the state-of-the-art automobile battery technology.
The new Ultralight 403 A models offer an advanced mount, providing quick and convenient mounting options for fishing kayaks.
The Cruise Pod propulsion system delivers lightweight and economical electric propulsion up to 20 hp for sailboats. Sailboats can be retrofitted from a diesel engine using the existing saildrive mounting points.
