Van Oossanen reveals XL-300 concept superyacht

Impressive fast displacement superyacht concept

The XL-300 concept was revealed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. The impressive study is a 47.5m fast displacement superyacht developed in partnership with Italian designer Federico Fiorentino.

The XL-300 features a large sundeck with a lot of space for sunloungers. The sleek lines are the work of Fiorentino, who provided the exterior styling.

“I gave this yacht a contemporary sleek and sharp look that perfectly combines with the lightness of its generous open spaces," said Fiorentino. "An aggressive attitude reflects the high-performance hull that lies below the waterline.”

The interior will be created by Cristiano Gatto, but no renderings have been released so far.

The superyacht will have accommodation for ten guests in five double cabins, including the main-deck owner's suite. The crew quarters can handle a staff of six people.

A helipad is available on the foredeck, as well an infinity pool and side-loading garage.

Power will be provided by two MTU 16V diesel engines, each providing 2,600 hp. Top speed will be 29 knots, but she will cruise comfortably at 12 knots for a maximum range of 3,800 nautical miles.
