In its 90th anniversary year, the exclusive Frauscher Shipyard is expanding its product spectrum by launching another day cruiser that is loaded with features: the Frauscher 858 Fantom Air.
The 8.6 metre motor yacht combines the premium design and top-class handling characteristics of the closed model: the Frauscher 858 Fantom.
Michael Frauscher explains: "With the Frauscher 858 Fantom Air we hope to continue the success of the 686 Lido, the 747 Mirage Air and the 1017 Lido – all yachts with a centred exposed helm – of which we have sold more than 200 in recent years. The 858 Fantom Air is yet another model that is ideal for a quiet picnic in the bay or for an adventurous sprint through the waves."
The Air variant was developed by the trio that designed the Frauscher 858 Fantom consisting of Thomas Gerzer, the long-time head of development at Frauscher Shipyard, the yacht design engineer Harry Miesbauer, who is responsible for the hull design, and the design partner Kiska.
The Frauscher 858 Fantom Air can be powered by inboard engines ranging from 300 to 430 hp.
